As the weather hopefully starts to warm up, we’re looking forward to being able to step outside and explore the city once again. And with spring approaching, it is also one of the most important times for London’s Art Scene. Plenty of markets and fairs begin to pop up where you can see some amazing up-and-coming artists, well-renowned artists and local craftsmen. Here are some of the amazing fairs you should check out this year.

Talented Art Fair

This art fair takes place in the Old Truman Brewery (2-4 March, Entry is Free) and highlights mainly up-and-coming and new international and British artists. The fair includes photographers, painters, sculptors, printmakers and more, and includes emerging artists as well those who have won awards. The artwork will be priced between £50-5,000, giving every art collector the chance to take home something amazing.

The Other Art Fair

A very well established art fair, the Other Art Fair is presented by Saatchi Art and features emerging and undiscovered artists. Taking place in the historical Victoria House, there will be 130 artists exhibiting which are handpicked by a committee of industry experts. This will be a truly amazingly curated show on 22-25th March.

The Affordable Art Fair

Popping up all around the world, the Affordable Art Fair gets its name from exhibiting artworks which everyone can purchase. Curating this experience for over 20 years, the Affordable Art Fair works with individual artists and galleries to ensure an amazing representation of emerging artists. Taking place on 8-11 March in Battersea, this is one to attend.

BMW Tate Live

If you’re looking for something with a little more movement, the BMW Tate Live is a week long collection of performances and shows. Presenting since 2003, the objective of this show is to create a platform for innovative artists to explore more kinetic forms of art. View the programme and selection of shows here.
